Blessing of the Animals This Saturday

In commemoration of the Feast of St. Francis, there will be a Blessing of the Animals at St. Peter’s this Saturday, October 5 at 4:00pm.  Bring your animal companions to the courtyard next to the church in front of the Parish House for a short service and a blessing from Fr. David.   The public is warmly invited too -- so invite friends, family and neighbors to come to the Blessing of the Animals.  Pets should be on a leash or in a carrier.

Sun., Oct 6: Oktoberfest Dinner

Organ Dedication Concert October 18

St. Peter’s is dedicating our new organ on Friday, October 18 with an Organ Dedication Concert at 7pm in the church.  Fr. David will formally dedicate the organ, and then we’re in for a treat:  Nationally renowned organist John Walker, Minister of Music Emeritus at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, will put our organ through its paces with a concert featuring some great organ pieces.  A free will offering will be taken.  Plan to attend and invite friends and family and anyone who has an interest in organ music to come as well.  For a list of the music that John Walker will be playing go to http://www.stpeterschurch.net/music/concerts-events/
