Peter's Post

PUBLISHING NOTE:  Peter’s Post will NOT publish next Wednesday, June 21.  It will resume on June 28.

THIS FRIDAY IS THIRD FRIDAY
One of the most popular Third Friday Downtown events happens this Friday.  The theme is “Paw Prints” and folks who bring their dogs and pets with them will  make a point of coming to St. Peter’s for a pet blessing.  The Blessing of the Animals will take place in St. Peter’s courtyard at 5:45pm and 6:15pm.  There will be doggie treats and  water bowls. Kids event will be create your own  animals with play-dough.  And we’ll be offering our famous burgers & dogs off the grill.
We are in need of volunteers to help with the pet blessing and our Third Friday activities.  It’s not much work and a lot of fun, and is an important part of our evangelism to the Salisbury community.  Contact Linda Hurley if you can help or need more information:  443. 553-6351; linda.hurley@comcast.net.

IMPROVEMENTS TO PARISH HALL THIS SUMMER
Demolition work begins next week in the Parish Hall to remove the ceiling and the old heating and cooling system.  All the tables and chairs have been temporarily relocated in Suite C of the Parish Annex Building.  Access to the closets will be limited so if you are in need of items please take them out by Sunday, June 18.  The Parish Hall is expected to remain closed from next week through July and into August.

Beginning this Monday, during construction the Monday NA Group will be meeting temporarily in the Parish Annex building, Suite C.  Contact Property Chair Amy Maull for more information on the Parish Hall project.

WI MIDDLE TEACHER APPRECIATION
