250th ANNIVERSARY DISCUSSION THIS SUNDAY
Following up on the exciting discussion at last Sunday’s Annual Meeting about celebrating the parish’s 250th Anniversary throughout 2018, all are invited to continue the discussion about these events and activities between the 9am and 11am services, at 10:15am downstairs in the Parish Hall.  This will be a chance to have more time to talk about ideas for commemorating our anniversary.  The discussion will be led by the Anniversary Committee Co-chairs Ann and Gil Allen.

In addition, there is a suggestion box at coffee hour this Sunday to place your comments and ideas for the anniversary celebration.  All suggestions are welcome.  The Anniversary Committee will be gathering all this information and will work to put together a plan this summer to present to the Vestry and parish.

ELECTION RESULTS
Vestry
At the Parish Annual Meeting this past Sunday Ryan Atkin, Dawn Spicer, and Kathy Willey were elected to three year terms as members of the Vestry, and Tom Robinson was elected to fulfil the remaining one year term of Rich Stover, who resigned his seat.

Delegates & Alternates
Parishioners at the meeting also elected Laura McCarthy, Atif Gaddis, and Linda Hurley as delegates and Bravard Cornbrooks, Sarah Fielding, and Debra Souza as alternate delegates to the 2108 Diocesan Convention.

Officers
The Vestry, at its organizing meeting immediately after the Annual Meeting, elected Linda Hurley to the two year warden position.  Linda will be the Junior Warden in her first year and will chair the Finance Committee.  Atif Gaddis now becomes the Senior Warden in the second year of his term.

Phil Shields was elected by the Vestry as the Treasurer.  Phil had stepped in this past January to fill the Treasurer position after Julie Milliken resigned.  This is a one year re-electable position.

No Registrar was elected at the meeting (see the next article).

Thank you to all those who have agreed to serve in leadership positions in our parish.  Please give your support and prayers to them as they fulfil their responsibilities.

PARISH REGISTRAR POSITION OPEN
The office of Parish Registrar is open and in need of a volunteer.  It is a one year term position, with additional terms possible.  Carole DiPietro has served in this position for three years, and as of the Annual Meeting has ended her tenure, so a new parishioner is needed to fill this position.  The Vestry elects the Registrar.

The main responsibilities of the Registrar are to take the minutes at the monthly Vestry meetings and the Parish Meeting.  Additionally the Registrar handles official correspondence, signs off on credentials for delegates to Diocesan Convention and oversees the care of official parish records.  The Registrar also has voice and vote on the Vestry.

Anyone interested in volunteering for this position -- and if anyone knows a good candidate for this position -- please contact the Rector, Father David:
davidmichaud07@gmail.com, or any Vestry member.
