HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
On this upcoming Mother’s Day, let us offer our prayers for all mothers: those who are with us and those who have gone before us.

BAPTISMS THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday at the 9am worship service sisters Lucy, Lily and Ruby Scott will receive the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.  Please keep Lucy, Lily and Ruby in your prayers as they and their parents Peter and Jamie prepare for this joyful event.

DINNER AND BINGO: MAY 12
The Fellowship and Hospitality Committee is sponsoring an evening for the whole parish family.  Join in a good time of food, fun, and fellowship this Friday, May 12th at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and Bingo in the Parish Hall. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.  Everyone is welcome.

COME TO ST. PETER’S SPRING MUSIC CONCERT – MAY 21
St. Peter’s music ministries are joining together on Sunday afternoon May 21 at 3pm for a wonderful Spring Concert at St. Peter’s Church.  You’ve heard these great musicians and singers at worship throughout the year – now experience them all together in one concert.  You are invited and encouraged to bring friends and family.  The concert will feature St. Peter’s Adult Choir with Robert Young at the organ, Peter’s Voice, our children’s choir: the Key Singers, and our Grace Notes Hand bell Choir.  A reception is to follow in the parlor.

THANK YOU FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE UTO
From our United Thank Offering Spring Ingathering we have received $350 in donations from the UTO blue mite boxes, which we are sending to UTO.  Thank you for your faithful giving

REMEMBERING THOSE WHO MADE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE
The purpose of Memorial Day is to remember all those in our armed forces who have died in service to our country.  Memorial Day is observed in the United States this year on Monday, May 29.  St. Peter’s will hold a memorial Holy Eucharist service on that day at 8:30am in the church and all are invited to participate.  (This is prior to the usual commemorations later that morning at the War Memorial at the Civic Center.)  The names of those who have died in service to the nation will be remembered at the altar at this service.  There is a form available this Sunday and from the Parish Office for parishioners to submit names of individuals you would like remembered.  Names should be turned in by May 24.

PARISH REGISTRAR POSITION OPEN
The office of Parish Registrar is open and in need of a volunteer.  It is a one year term position, with additional terms possible.  Carole DiPietro has served in this position for three years, and as of the Annual Meeting has ended her tenure, so a new parishioner is needed to fill this position.  The Vestry elects the Registrar.

The main responsibilities of the Registrar are to take the minutes at the monthly Vestry meetings and the Parish Meeting.  Additionally the Registrar handles official correspondence, signs off on credentials for delegates to Diocesan Convention and oversees the care of official parish records.  The Registrar also has voice and vote on the Vestry.

Anyone interested in volunteering for this position -- and if anyone knows a good candidate for this position -- please contact the Rector, Father David:
davidmichaud07@gmail.com, or any Vestry member.
