About the Organ

In the late 1970’s a Moeller pipe organ was installed. In 2012 the console was replaced with a Rogers digital organ which was also connected to the existing pipes so that it combines digital with acoustical sound.  St. Peter’s formally dedicated our new organ on October 18, 2013.

The new organ was made possible through the generous donations of many and through the sales of the cookbook Sinepuxent Receipts, A Personal Collection of Eastern Shore Cooking. Tom Clarke is the author, and lives in Hebron. This cookbook is the definitive source to properly prepare Maryland Blue Crab as well as many other recipes….or receipts as the old folks called them. There are 86 receipts to include Appetizers, Soups, Breads, Salads, Main Entrees Land and Sea, Side Dishes, Desserts and Candy. This collection includes treasured heirloom receipts from the Timmons/Bunting family in the Ocean City/Berlin Maryland area; it also includes recipes from Italy and Hawaii, plus a few of Tom’s own creations. Truly it has been a labor of love. All profits from the sale of Sinepuxent Receipts continue to go to the St. Peter’s Church Music Fund.
