Parish Picnic June 1

St. Peter’s Parish Picnic will be held on Sunday, June 1 at Schumaker Park in Salisbury.  We will begin with an outdoor Holy Eucharist at the pavilion at 10:00am, which will include music by our music group Peter’s Voice and youth awards for Sunday School and serving at the altar.  At about 11:15am our picnic will begin.  The church will provide drinks and hot dogs, hamburgers, and pulled pork sandwiches with all the fixings.  All parishioners are encouraged to attend, and to bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share.

On that Sunday, worship services will be at 8am in the church, and 10am at Schumaker Park.

Parish Picnic June 1

Join in the fun as we gather as a parish on Sunday, June 1 at Schumaker Park in Salisbury for our annual St. Peter’s Parish Picnic.  We will begin with our lakeside outdoor worship service of Holy Eucharist at 10:00am in the Park’s pavilion with music provided once again this year by Peter’s Voice.  During the service awards will be given out to our youth for Sunday School participation and for service at the Altar over the past year.  Dress is casual for that day.

After the service, at about 11:15am, we will begin our Parish Picnic.  This year we will feature hot dogs, hamburgers, and pulled pork sandwiches, with all the fixings.  Assorted drinks will also be provided.  Parishioners are asked to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share.  There will be many games and activities for our youth.  This is a great opportunity to come together as a parish and have some fun and fellowship.

This is the Sunday we move to our summer worship schedule of two services:  8:00am and 10:00am.  On June 1 the 8:00am service will be in the church with the 10:00am service held at Schumaker Park.
